Revenge of the Volturi CHAP. 2

ALICE’S POV (the next day) :

O. MY.GOD. I cannot believe this!!!! I’ve been having Nessie headaches for one whole week!!! I can’t take it!!!!!! Ya Edward I know you can hear me! I can’t take your daughters headaches! Just because I’m an annoying short pixie vampire doesn’t mean that she has the right to do this to me!!!! Carlisle isn’t even trying to find a cure!!! And the weirdest part is, I feel deep down that I’ve missed something important! UUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!! U can tell Nessie-

Alice’s Vision:
Tanya and Kate on a plane.  Both of them looking out the window looking scared.  Them landing in Italy… Aro’s surprised face. The Volturi.  Tanya and Kate begging for death.


Alice’s POV:
Oh my god. ‘EDWARD WHERES CARLISLE?!?!’ I thought frantically. “He’s hunting with Esme, not too far away, I can still hear them.  I need to go get them NOW. Tell everyone what just happened.” He said.  I could tell he was nervous and scared and mad and all those other typical Edward emotions.  He ran swiftly out the door.  
Everyone was staring at me. They all looked curious, yet panicked. I quickly filled them in. Jasper crouched protectively over me.  Emmett growled.  Rose was looking at herself in the mirror, so I doubt she just heard anything I just said.  Bella was at the window waiting for Edward to return. Jacob was comforting Bella.  Renesmee was sleeping on the couch.  
Edward came back in 5 minutes. I was about to tell Carlisle everything but then Edward quickly said “He knows already”. Carlisle anxiously asked me if we could stop them. “No” I said. “It’s too late”. Carlisle bowed his head and there was a moment of silence.  Then Esme said “there must be something we could do!” “No. it’s too late. They took off at 5 AM, look at the time” I said.  “6” she sighed.  We were all freaking out.  We had no idea what to do. They left already, we would never catch them.  We were helpless.  Carlisle was talking to me and Edward about why they would do such a thing.  The Volturi, of all people!  Didn’t they know that we were here for them?  They could have come to us!  Why did they want to die?!
Then I got it. The second I understood, Edward froze.  It was Irina. They were always moping about Irina.  They were committing suicide because of her.  I knew it.  I knew I was right. I could just feel it. And so could Edward.  This all happened in a matter of 1 second, we were still talking to Carlisle.  I mentally told Edward to tell Carlisle.  He wasn’t listening.  He couldn’t move.  I whispered, so low that Bella probably couldn’t hear me. “Irina” I said.  Carlisle understood. They couldn’t live without Irina.   His face twisted into such pain that I had to look away.
Then Bella went over to Edward.  She had heard everything.  “Carlisle, I’m so sorry.” She whispered. “I know Bella, Tanya and Kate were our very good friends. They were always there for us. But we let them down.  We have betrayed them. We have been too busy with our own lives that we have forgotten about them.  Whenever we needed them, they helped. Now when they needed our love, we couldn’t even give that to them. And now they will die.” Carlisle said.  Then he walked out of the room and went into his room.  Esme followed.
Then for most of the night, Rose went upstairs to probably look at herself, Emmett and Jasper were talking about Tanya and Kate, Carlisle and Esme stayed in their room, and Edward, Bella and I were also talking about Tanya and Kate.  Bella seemed very emotional about them.  I was surprised, figuring the whole Tanya-Edward thing.  She was really upset.  Edward was mad at himself, I could tell, Bella was just distraught, and I was still kind of in shock.  I couldn’t believe it.  I mean, I know we’ve been neglecting them a bit, but we were busy enjoying Renesmee’s youth, and Bella as truly being apart of our family.  Meanwhile, they’re in pain. Why didn’t they call? Why did they have to do this?
Now they gave our family pain.
